They have gone way downhill. They were originally good with support when I first signed up in 2004, but now I have a ticket open since March 8, 2007. I've tried e-mailing support@web-hosting- ecommerce.net TWICE with no reply. Their site is in shambles with no contact page and I can't get into my cPanel! Their "contact" link takes you to their support page and multiple attempts to contact their ICQ support has resulted in no response. I have a domain with them which belongs to me but I'm stuck now that I want to move hosts since they've registered it for me. I have also experienced downtime where my site was inaccessible (at LEAST half a dozen to a dozen times since I've been with them). I have filed a compliant with the Edmonton Better Business Bureau. Stay away from them!

Cheap hosting, until you try to leave. Left this host after 3 years because of the constant down-time. Then they kept billing me anyway. Claimed I had not "properly" requested cancellation. A cancellation request must include the reason you are cancelling and your credit card# among other things. Tech Support is non-existent, and to say customer service is rude is an understatement. Read their other reviews. They tried to convert my $23.40/yr. hosting plan into a $400+ bill. Here's an email from them: =================================== You was charged on Sat 11/25/2006 12:00 AM CST. You cancelled on Sun 11/26/2006 8:20 AM CST. You cancelled after the start of the next payment term. We follow agreed upon contracts. Integrity - Moral soundness; honesty; freedom from corrupting influence or motive; -- used especially with reference to the fulfillment of contracts. It is a shame you have none. In accordance with the FEES YOU AGREED TO PAY, you now owe us $415.20. We will see you in court. I have been using M6 for about three years now. Recently their service has taken a dump. The service is very unreliable (last thirty days my SQL server has been down twice for over 4 days). If you have aproblem on Friday, good luck getting your site up by Monday. It appears they do not have the support staff to take care of any server issues. I would not recommend M6.net to anyone who requires a reliable web service.
